Custom Recombinant Protein Expression Services

IMD team has >20 years of experience in expression and purification of recombinant protein with high purity and biological activity. We have established multiple expression systems (bacteria, baculovirus- insect cells, yeast and mammalian cells), >20 types of purification strategies as well as a large number of our in-house protocols for optimization of protein expression. We provide “one-stop” service from genes to purified proteins, including synthesis of target genes and codon optimization, expression and purification of proteins, and endotoxin removal. Our technical staff will work closely with you, and provide you a timely report for the project

Protein expression in E.coli

  • Multiple expression vectors and bacterial strains to meet various needs

  • Multiple strategies to increase the solubility, activity, productivity of target proteins;

  • High throughput and medium-scale expression & purification;

  • Fast (~4 weeks), ready-to-use proteins (several mg) and cost-effective

Protein expression in mammalian cells

  • Multiple cell lines (HEK293, CHO, CHO-S) available;

  • Transient or stable expression, optimized expression systems;

  • Adhesion or suspension culture, large-sclae fermentation;

  • High yield expression with posttranslational modification.

Protein expression in insect cells

  • Multiple insect cell lines (sf9, sf21, Hi-5 etc.);

  • High efficient expression of intracellular & extracellular proteins;

  • Rich experience in packaging high titer baculoviruses;

  • High throughput expression, with posttranslational modification

Protein expression in yeast cells

  • The most cost-effective eukaryotic protein expression system;

  • Different strains of P. pastoris or S. Cerevisiae to optimize expression;

  • Innovative methods to select stable clones with high protein expression;

  • Fast (~7-8 weeks), high throughput expression & purification.
