SSA/Ro52 (Human Tripartite Motif Containing 21)
Spodoptera frugiperda Sf9
TRIM21, SSA/Ro52, Ro52
Ro/SSA ribonucleoproteins are involved in RNA quality control and cellular stress response to UV irradiation, and comprise of a single polypeptide and four small RNA molecules including the 52 kDa Ro protein. Ro/SSA interacts with autoantigens in patients with Sjogren syndrome and systemic lupus erythematosus.
As an autoantigen, SSA/Ro52 binds with IgG-type human auto-antibodies
AMINO ACID SEQUENCE
Standard ELISA test, line/dot assay and microarray assay with positive/negative sera panels.
Lyophilized in storage buffer (20mM Tris, 300-500mM NaCl, 10% Glycerol, PH8.0).
Add deionized water to prepare a working stock solution of approximately 1 mg/mL and let the lyophilized pellet dissolve completely.
Expressed in insect Sf9 cells with a total of 499 AA.
Mw: 57.1 KDa (calculated).
N-terminal 6xHis-tag and TEV cleavage site, 25 extra AA (highlighted).
Recombinant antigen for research use or manufacturing only.
Store lyophilized protein at –20°C. Aliquot reconstituted protein and store at –80°C. Avoid repeatedfreezing /thawing cycles.
QUALITY CONTROL TEST
BCA to determine quantity of the protein.
SDS PAGE to determine purity of the protein.
